SEO i.e. Search Engine Optimization is a method in which you optimize your content in such a way with keywords and backlinks, etc that it ranks in organic search of any search engine. In general cases Search Engine is Google. It generates and leads free traffic to your blog or website. SEO is FREE!
PPC i.e. Pay-per-click is completely different from SEO but the result is the same; it also generates traffic to your blog website but it is PAID! PPC your advertisement is shown above the organic search. And, if the visitor clicks on it, you have to pay for it. If it is a Google Search, you have to pay Google Ad words for it.
But the question arises which one is better?
As we mentioned in the introduction it is completely free, you don’t have to invest even a single penny in SEO. But, you might have to hire a Digital Marketer for it, If you don’t want to spend a lot of time doing it by yourself. It involves a regular investment of time if you’re not willing to hire a Digital Marketer for it.
It is paid but the thing that is good about PPC is you have to pay only when someone clicks on your advertisement and visits your site. But, yet you must have to hire a digital marketer for it as well. If you don’t have sufficient knowledge of it.
2. In the long run?
In comparison, SEO is best in the long run. The reason behind this is that once something ranked on the first page will continue to drive huge traffic for a very long time and will be there till there is no better content provided by someone else with the right keywords and backlinks. So, it will be generating traffic without doing anything.
It can bring you quick traffic but it can’t run for a long time until you edit it and update it, regularly. So, it requires regular efforts and investment of a good sum of money to generate traffic.
